Each specific program within the Josh Lyons method of training builds the fundamental skills necessary to achieve a solid foundation. As you develop one skill you will continually improve as you advance to the next level. No matter the level of you or your horse these proven methods will help you achieve your goals.Lyons Legacy Master Trainer Program
The entire time we’ve been conducting horsemanship programs around the country, we’ve also been producing some of the very best horse trainers in the industry. We’ve never stopped studying ways to produce new methods and improve on the ways they are taught. As a result of these new changes, we are excited to bring you a suite of the worlds’ most comprehensive and effective horse training programs. We could not be more excited about launching them and look forward to having you join our team of Lyons Legacy Trainers.
There are four steps to building and establishing your career as a Lyons Legacy Master Trainer.
There are four steps to building and establishing your career as a Lyons Legacy Master Trainer.
Step One: Qualification Course
This one week course will be offered just once a year, and enrollment will be limited to a maximum of 10-12 students. For admission into the program, applicants must be able to ride their own broke horse in a group of other horses in a safe and controlled manner. They will be expected to ride their horse safely at a walk, trot and lope. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates will then be eligible to advance to the next step, the certification course, which will further them on their way to becoming a “Lyons Legacy Master Trainer.”
Step Two: Certified Trainer Course
One of the changes you may have noticed is our new and improved certification program. We are now going to limit enrollment to only 3 to 5 students per course, and each session will last 2 weeks. Each session will be separated by a 1 to 2 week break. This should allow our trainers time to absorb all they have been working on and help to clarify those things in their own mind that they’ll need to “perfect” in the final 2 weeks of the course. We really feel this new program will allow Josh the opportunity to spend more quality time with each trainer. Our goal is to offer an even better environment here at our Cross Plains facility, where each trainer’s retention level should show remarked improvement. The main purpose of these changes is to improve our overall program so that you, the trainer, will reach more of your goals and retain more of the information you’ve been given. This should, ultimately, improve your business in a very significant way. And, if you are accepted and complete the entire “Lyons Legacy Master Trainer Program”, this will open up enormous opportunities to you personally.

Once again, enrollment will be limited to only 3 to 5 students to ensure complete attention from Josh to each and every detail that each trainer deserves.
